In celebration of Piano Day 2024, 'like rain' was planned as a released for celebration. This tune is part of a much larger body of work that was recorded in February during a practice recording session. 

 

Soft, emotive and reflective of the feelings that one experiences when it showers, 'like rain' is reminiscent of the smell of the earth after the rain. It unknowingly resulted in the piece being helpful for the listener go on a meditative journey. With over a year of being in development, this tune stands a testament to the love for the instrument that I have held ever since I heard solo piano music.
